So next year it will be a shutout.Seven game series two years ago. Six game series last year. It’ll be five this year. So far into this rebuild but so little to show for it.

Ummm nope. The biggest problem with the PLD deal is Blake could have kept Vilardi an then used the rest of the cap space to get a puck moving LD or big bodied forward. This trade and contract seems like it will screw the franchise for the rest of the decade.you’re not wrong but keep in mind Vilardi and Iafallo also suck.
Problem is, up in the great white north the Oilers are going to get to many power plays.Well, I'm probably the only one to be optimistic here, but the Kings still have a chance to force Game 6 and 7 if they keep Rittich in net, have him repeat his otherwise great performance in net, and find a way to solve Skinner by getting the correct positioning in the O-zone to get past him in net.
Agree 100%. Heck, if they wanted to move Vilardi, they could have moved him for something other than PLD.Ummm nope. Have you been watching the Avs Jets series by any chance? Vilardi and Iafallo are quite literally nothing special. There’s no big loss without them on the team.Ummm nope. Unless said hockey gods themselves are available for PK duty it's hard to share your optimism.Well, I'm aware of the badly biased officiating up there, but I'm hoping Rittich is not going to be as leaky as Talbot was in those next games, provided the Kings do win Game 5 to force Game 6 (then force a Game 7 if the hockey gods are smiling upon LA).
Stats for the win!!!
Yes, banging our heads against the wall while watching in frustration for an entire season has raised quite the weltHave we witnessed the pld bump yet?
And McDavid to one shot and Oilers to one goal. And Grundstrom played more than one shift.Who could have thought that if we would limit our game to just one penalty we'd still lose?
Agree ... Walking back to the car I was like, "I think I would actually be less depressed if we had lost 5-0"I think this might hurt worse than the blowouts.
2 out of 50 is damn good. Odds are just 3 out of 100. Just ask Toronto or Vancouver about 2 out of 50.Why do I take this so seriously I need to get a life! Two great years out of 50+ years as a fan. Who does that? Is there a Kings counseling line?
