Interesting read. Quebec citizens protest after the government agrees to subsidize LA Kings coming to Quebec to Showcase their French players and possible interest bringing back a franchise for a nice sum of 7 million dollars while not charging anything to Utah when we play preseason games there. Meanwhile, Montreal Habs offered to play there for free.
While business is business, it also makes sense that the kings are a much more interesting team to watch, with our star frenchy players PLD, Danault a playoff bound team opposed to rebuilding bottom dweller Canadians. The article also doesn't facror in travel considerations we'd have to go way the hell over to the eastern part of Canada not exactly a trip to Utah.
