Miami, Florida State, Ohio State, Tennessee, Texas, Georgia all have had more impact players in the NFL.

Miami, USC cranking out NFL players - NFL - Yahoo! Sports

No one is even close to Miami talent.

And yes most talented teams even lose games, just not against 40 point underdogs at home.

In the Carroll era? Carroll's been coach since 2001, and as noted in your link, USC's put a huge bulk of players in the NFL in the last 3 years because USC has been dominating recruiting since he took over. Too early to pass judgment, but definitely top five.

And yet Miami hasn't done squat since that loss to Ohio State in the 2002 Fiesta Bowl.

True, but that's just one example.

Nobody enjoyed that loss more than UCLA fans anyway--it took the sting off of us losing to winless Notre Dame at home the same night.

You wanna go back to the last 10 years or so of the John Robinson era? or the current FSU era? Every school goes through ups and downs. USC will also, they already did. FSU was ranked top 5 for like 14 years straight or whatever it was and Miami was good when USC was bad. Miami 00 and 01 team probably has about 5 hall of famers once it's all said and done.

Dude, you are really reaching here. You hate USC, great, move on. I don't know why you feel the need to convince everyone in the sports thread when even Joe Bruin/Hoya disagrees with you.

I went to USC and I hate the "nuthuggers" (???) too but that **** happens all the time when you reach a level of success.

As far as the NFL goes it's way too hard to predict who will become superstars. Look at Vince Young. Look at Brady Quinn, etc. Your hate of Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart is quite laughable and immature. It's the no name guys that usually have to work harder to prove themselves in the NFL and secure those million dollar contracts. You think the Reggies and the Leinarts want to break their necks out there when they're already making the big bucks in endorsement deals?

Is this purely because they can't attack the on field product?

Fair enough. However, when I was searching for the history match up between the two teams (USC leads 6-2-1) I found this gem: Orange Bowl 2005: USC-Oklahoma Matchup History : Fanblogs College Football Blog .

Awww yes, the BIG choke. God that hurt.

Lets agree to cheer for our schools that are both competative. I have this arguement every year with my bro-in-law who is a die hard SC fan. For every OU choke there's a SC loss to Oregon or Stanford leaving it's fans saying "WTF just happened!"
