What about Palmerio? I'm not a fan of his but I think he was telling the truth. He is not on the report. He said he was clean and when he got busted he told reporters that Tejada had given him something to help with an injury. I think it’s still his fault for getting busted. As a pro I would think you would never take something without knowing exactly what it is. But does he get a little bit of his credibility back?

Don't know if anyone read this article. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2...itchell/071212

Looks like the player apologists are already being ramped up to help us forget about this whole steroid thing. I mean, fans don't care anyway, right? That article made me sick.

How ridiculous does all this make the whole Barry Bonds fiasco look now?

Oh, I am sure there is an exponential factor. Most of the detail came from ONE steroid ring and BALCO. I am sure there are others who happily distribute HGH to professional athletes.

Can anyone discern from the report when Gagne started juicing? I mean, it's easy to speculate that it was before he started closing, but the report suggests that he bought from Radomski in '04?

Can anyone shed a little more light on this?

This is great. Clemens vehemently denies everything through his lawyer (per ESPN):

"I have great respect for Senator Mitchell. I think an overall look at this problem in baseball was an excellent idea," Hardin said in a statement. "But I respectfully suggest it is very unfair to include Roger's name in this report. He is left with no meaningful way to combat what he strongly contends are totally false allegations. He has not been charged with anything, he will not be charged with anything and yet he is being tried in the court of public opinion with no recourse. That is totally wrong."

From the Mitchell report (for basically every player, too!):

"In order to provide Clemens with information about these allegations and to give him an opportunity to respond, I asked him to meet with me; he declined."

    Emphasis mine.

One of my favorite parts of the report is Matt Herges' check. He misspells Radomski's name and writes "Thanks!" on the memo line.

Also, that Gagne had his roids delivered to Dodger Stadium.

Also, that Kevin Brown Fed Ex'd 8k in cash to Radomski's doorstep without requiring a signature for authorization.

Oh, you crazy former Dodger pitchers!
