Been pimping this on the Fx thread...want to get word out to those who might not be aware

LEGIT Series Premiere Review; Jim Jefferies Co-Created and Stars in New FX Comedy LEGIT | Collider

Jefferies comes off as an affable guy who takes the path of least resistance, but who genuinely doesn’t want to do anyone any harm. The humor and situations are not as caustic as Louie, nor or they are universally perceptive or layered as Curb Your Enthusiasm. But while many of the predicaments feel predicable, one cannot deny a growing investment in the characters with each passing episode. In Legit, Jefferies has created something legitimately good and cool and worth watching.
Getting universally good reviews, and if you aren't aware of him, Jefferies is a really funny stand up.

I watched Alphas too, but I also watch the Oprah network, lol, so I'll watch anything.

And no, my man card hasn't expired, because I never got one. I was in the restroom when they were passing them out.

Oh, but seriously, Alphas is a good show. Still, I am not as sad as when they cancelled Pushing Daisies.

Daniel Knauf's Dracula Finds His Mina | Horror Movie, DVD, & Book Reviews, News, Interviews at Dread Central

We are still as giddy as schoolgirls regarding the news that the creator of "Carnivale" is bringing the world a new series about "Dracula." The possibilities are endless, we tell ya! In any event more casting news has hit the interwebs.

Deadline reports that Australian actress Jessica de Gouw (The Dinner Meeting, "Arrow") has landed the female lead opposite Jonathan Rhys Meyers in NBC/Sky Living‘s 10-episode series "Dracula."

Described as “Dangerous Liaisons meets 'The Tudors'”, the series is set in 1890s London. It centers on Dracula (Meyers), who arrives in London posing as American entrepreneur Allen Grayson, who maintains that he wants to bring modern science to Victorian society. In reality, he hopes to wreak revenge on the people who ruined his life centuries earlier, but he falls hopelessly in love with a woman who seems to be a reincarnation of his dead wife. De Gouw will play that woman, Mina Murray, a striking medical student who is engaged to Jonathan Harker, but upon meeting Grayson, both are instantly mesmerized by the other’s uncanny resemblance to someone from their past.
    Awww...Carnivale...damn you HBO. Damn you.
