Since the first days of Cooking Channel, I don't think I've watched more than an hour or two of Food Network. Not even a conscious decision, just happening that way.

I love this channel. It's almost always on. Two Fat Ladies RULE. I want a bike with a sidecar, too. I like the Indian chick (spice goddess, I think) and I have a soft spot for Chuck's Day Off. David Rocco kinda bugs me, but for some reason I still watch. I'll watch anything Jamie Oliver is on, and I want his garden. Saw a salmon episode where he pulled everything from the yard, sat down on a stump, didn't even wash anything and just started grilling right there. His cutting board was another stump. Loved it. Drink Up is a GREAT show, too. So many good shows. There's another show...something Exotic or Exotic something (chef is Roger Mooking) that I really like, even though I hate how he says "obedient ingredient" about 20 times a show (he picks one main ingredient and uses that throughout).

I started watching it last week, I love the old shows, 2 Fat Ladies and Iron Chef. Even though it wasn't a Food Network show, I wish they would run some old Rob Rainfords License to Grill shows, that show was great.

You hit 'em all. Chuck's day off is cool. Drink Up rocks. Also nice to see the Molto Mario re-runs.

I'm a huge fan of Nigella Lawson's sweater zeppelins, but DAYAM it's difficult to stay focused on the food sometimes....

Thankfully the Cooking Channel is to Food Network what VH1 became to MTV.

All Food Network is now is an ever growing collection of cheesy-ass reality/competition programs.

While this channel has been good the few times i watched it (too hard to watch a lot of it not being in HD), i really don't get all the Food Network hate and the comparisons to MTV is downright unfair.

Even though there are a lot of gimmicky shows on FN i find most of them entertaining and they actually revolve around food, cooking or chefs whereas all of MTVs shows having nothing to do with music.

    To each their own.

Ive heard good things about Food Jammers....and foodology is pretty cool as well.
