The Calgary Flames, not surprisingly, are having a blast these days. Even uncharacteristically soggy SoCal could do nothing to dampen their spirits.
Stringing together victory after victory will do that. So what's a little rain? "A lot of fun," Jarome Iginla said after the morning skate. "We want to keep it going. Winning, we're really enjoying it." At this point, the Flames captain had nodded toward the National Hockey League table, tacked to the bulletin board in the visitors' quarters at the Staples Center.
"We're enjoying climbing up the standings," said Iginla. "Now, the top of the division is right there. It's in sight." In sight . . . and, as of Saturday, bagged.
