What I'm saying is that any team with true Cup potential will go ape**** if they lose key players at this point of the season. Especially if it happens agasint the NHL's last place team.
The 3 players mentioned before have all done someting at one point of their careers that was suspendable. What I'm saying is that it's quite the deterrent.

Are you saying Parker didn't have the balls to do anything OP? That lappy was the only one who could? I would love to see JJ or Boyle lay out a duck the way that Smyth got laid out, especially Pronger's stupid ass. I don't think there would be the response you think.

What I'm saying is that ducking Parker is a hell of a lot easier than ducking every single Duck that would be ready willing and able to drop the gloves. If would love to see Boyle try something. Personally I think it's pretty sad when guys as young as Boyle and Johnson are the only ones willing to step outside of their customary roles to stand up for their team. Even sadder when you consider Boyle isn't even on the active roster right not.

I'll tell you exactly what would happen. Pahlsson would defend himself by tying up Blake. He'll take a punch or two but he won't get annihilated like Handzus did against Pronger. The Duck fans would cheer because Sammy "did a pretty good job handling himself." Then a few minutes later...someone would grab a hold of Blake and beat him into retirement. King fans would cheer because it solves the problem of "What if our dumbass GM resigns this worthless piece of **** to another over inflated contract" question that a lot of you are secretly asking yourselves.
