ANY DAY NOW the Reading Railroad may depart from Verizon Wireless Arena.
Monarchs coach Mark Morris said after Monday's victory, when he had five healthy players in suits watching the game from a luxury box, that some players will "move soon." That move will be down to the Reading Royals of the ECHL.
Lately Morris has been unhappy with inconsistent play. Morris isn't naming names yet.
The farthest Morris would go was this: "Some of the guys who have had to sit out for various reasons, we're looking for consistent play."
"You're earning your ice here now," said Monarchs director of hockey development Hubie McDonough.
"We're as healthy as we've been in a long time," said Morris. "We're going to have to make some decisions here shortly as to who's going to stick, which guys deserve to be here."
