The Reading Royals and Elmira Jackals are so similar, it’s only natural that they’d hate each other.

They’re both physical, both well-coached. Both are at the top of the league in injuries and call-ups; both have questions about their goaltending. Their records and stats are nearly identical.

Get them on the same sheet of ice, and it’s like two brothers who can’t stand each other because they’re so alike. The 11 Elmira-Reading regular season games saw 895 penalty minutes and 32 fighting majors.
