The Kings begin a three-game road trip tonight and are 6-12-1 as the visiting club this year. Los Angeles, which will also play in Calgary and Vancouver on this trek, just wrapped a six-game homestand 3-3-0.
That includes a 4-3 shootout win over Dallas on Saturday. Patrick O'Sullivan scored the deciding goal in the shootout, giving the Kings a 4-3 win over the Stars.
Anze Kopitar scored on the first attempt of the shootout with a quick backhander, but no one scored for either team until the final shot in the third round. Antti Miettinen barely beat Jason LaBarbera with his five-hole shot that squeezed through, and was upheld on review.
