If there is one thing that stands out about the Flyers' new defenseman, Jaroslav Modry, it's that he's not shy when it comes to talking about what the fans can except from him.
"I bring experience, intensity and I am able to move the puck well out of our zone and make our forwards create chances," Modry said yesterday after being traded to the Flyers from the Kings for a 2008 third-round draft pick.
"I am a solid defenseman and am able to play against the best players from the other team and keep them from scoring goals against us. I think I can help the team get better. I can step up and play special teams, too, and be able to chip in and do the right stuff out there."
