About This Page: This is a discussion on LA Kings News within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. Left wing Ladislav Nagy views his decision to sign a $5.6 million, two-year deal to play in the Russian Super League as a temporary stop and not a long-term plan.
Left wing Ladislav Nagy views his decision to sign a $5.6 million, two-year deal to play in the Russian Super League as a temporary stop and not a long-term plan.
“Nagy fully intends to come back to the NHL if he can find a situation where he will be given the minutes in order to produce at the elite level he is capable of,” said his agent, Matt Keator.
Nagy, 29, played only 38 games (scoring nine goals) for the Los Angeles Kings last season because of injury, and while other NHL teams had interest in Nagy, they weren’t offering as much as Cherepovets.
At least with all these over the hill and never got up the hill players signing in russia, the Kings will not be able to sign them, at least not again.
Nagy--what a waste. Awful, uninspired play. No loss for the Kings. Hopefully DL can find a more rewarding way for the Kings to get above the salary floor...
