Tonight the Monarchs try to put a two-game losing streak behind them. What better place to do it than in Worcester's DCU Center, where Manchester has won two straight?
The Monarchs have a rare chance for speedy redemption at 7:05 p.m. after the Worcester Sharks (San Jose) pulled off a sneak attack victory with 2.1 seconds to play on New Year's Eve in Manchester. The teams are tied for fifth in the AHL Atlantic Division.
Tomorrow night at 7:05 the Monarchs host the Binghamton Senators (Ottawa) for the only time this season.
For Monarchs newcomer winger John Zeiler, who spent 35 games with the LA Kings, the solution is simple.
"We don't lose games because we're not as good as other teams," said Zeiler, who is 1-2 with the Monarchs since his return. "It's because we make little mistakes. We have a few mistakes we have to clean up.
