With five of their next six games against last-place teams, the time is now for the Monarchs to mount their assault on the fourth and final playoff position in the Atlantic Division.
Tonight at 7:05 the Monarchs host the last-place Lowell Devils (New Jersey) in Verizon Wireless Arena and tomorrow at 2:05 p.m. Manchester travels to Lowell. On paper in this matchup the Monarchs should secure some valuable points. The Devils' 13 wins are the fewest in the league and Lowell does not have a scorer in the league's top 45.
However, nothing has been predictable when it comes to these young Monarchs. They are on a three-game losing streak, which includes losses to a pair of division leaders, Providence Wednesday and Philadelphia last Saturday.
