One win from gaining a share of the final playoff spot in the Atlantic Division, the Monarchs are guardedly optimistic as they take a two-game win streak into the weekend.

Tonight the Monarchs host the Hershey Bears (Washington) and Saturday they host the Providence Bruins (Boston). Both games are at 7:05 p.m.

"It's going to be a diffiuclt stretch here battling for a playoff spot," said Monarchs center Gabe Gauthier. "Every game 'til the last will be very, very crucial."
