The Manchester Monarchs' brass are getting the blueprint for this year from Terry Murray and the Los Angeles Kings.

The team is a week away from training camp.

"They want us on the same page with them,'' said Hubie McDonough, director of hockey operations for the Manchester Monarchs.

"The Kings are stressing a defensive system, a neutral zone system and we're going to apply that style in Manchester this year.''
