The Los Angeles Kings continue to confound their fans as well as those who bet against them on a given night. Saturday, afternoon actually, they pulled off a win against the Dallas Stars, twenty points and eleven positions ahead of them in the Western Conference standings and playing their best goalie, Marty Turco.
And the Kings did it by playing from behind, overcoming numerous penalty calls including several five-on-three situations, and by winning in a shootout overtime (if that’s what you call it when teams have to go past the first three shooters to decide a game.)

The question is, why?
thanks for the link
To state the obvious, the question of why is a clear inference of tanking for the sake of draft position. There can be no other reason to ask why a team would put forth the effort to come from behind. Brian Kennedy does not quote the question he actually posed to Crow in the article, just his response. Then he poses a question in print that I doubt he posed to Crow, at least not in those words. That's crappy stuff.
FYI- I registered at the site so I can post comments. I posted what I posted here that I think the author should state what the actual question was that MC was responding to because he makes it seem as if he is responding to "why aren't you tanking games" It is under review by their moderators whether they will post my comment.
