They're a young team with a lot of talent currently languishing near the bottom the standings - similar to the club they faced last night.
The Los Angeles Kings put up a good fight in a 5-4 loss to the Edmonton Oilers, in what turned out to be an entertaining contest between two non-playoff clubs.
But as has been the case all season, they were not rewarded for their efforts.
"We gave them a lot of opportunities and made it pretty easy for them to get their goals," lamented Kings winger Dustin Brown, who scored a pair of goals in the loss.
