The Los Angeles Kings are stockpiling what could become an absolutely nasty group of blueliners.

Nashville might have the best overall depth in terms of up and coming young defencemen, but L.A. has some pretty impressive high-end talent and this team is going to be a force to be reckoned with several years from now.

Jack Johnson was taken #3 overall in 2005; Thomas Hickey was #4 in 2007; Drew Doughty was #2 this summer along with Colten Teubert at #13. See? Sucking does have its privileges and other teams will not have the Kings to kick around for much longer.

The much-heralded Doughty was just signed to a three-year, entry level deal.
