Backup goalie Wade Dubielewicz filled in and made 24 saves but wasn't able to provide the remedy as the sinking Isles dropped their sixth straight home game (0-4-2) with a nauseating 3-1 loss on Thursday night to the NHL-worst Los Angeles Kings.
"I don't know if it was the flu bug or what it was, but the way we played was unacceptable," said Ted Nolan, who referred to most of his team as lethargic. "You can't expect to win hockey games, or entertain our fans, if you play like that."
