LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have assigned defenseman Peter Harrold to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi
LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have assigned defenseman Peter Harrold to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi today announced.
Harrold, 24, played in 25 games for the Kings this season and recorded five points (2-3=5) and two penalty minutes. He has also played in 49 games with the Monarchs this season and has 43 points (7-36=43) and 25 penalty minutes. The 5-11, 195-pound Harrold is a native of Kirtland Hills, Ohio. He was originally signed by the Kings as a free agent on April 12, 2006.
On Monday, fans can check out LAKings.com for coverage of the National Hockey League Draft Drawing, a weighted system to determine the order of selection for the first 14 picks of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. The Draft Drawing will take place at 5 p.m. (PT) at the NHL’s New York City office, and will be televised live by VERSUS in the U.S.; TSN in Canada; and the NHL Network in the U.S. and Canada. The 30-minute, live program is titled “Scotiabank NHL Draft Lottery.”
