The Los Angeles Kings have acquired a second-round draft selection in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft and a fourth-round selection in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft from the Detroit Red Wings in exchange for defenseman Brad Stuart, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced Tuesday.
In addition, Lombardi announced the Kings have acquired a seventh-round selection in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft from Anaheim in exchange for goaltender Jean-Sebastien Aubin.
The Kings now have three selections in the second-round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft in addition to two selections in the first-round and three selections in the third-round. The Aubin trade marks the first-ever trade between the Kings and the Ducks in their 14-year cross-town rivalry.
