FOLLOWING our disappointing 3-2 loss to the Philadelphia Phantoms on Saturday night at Verizon Wireless Arena, Manchester Monarch's General Manager Ron Hextall mentioned he was planning on heading to Boston for the 2008 Bean Pot.
He needed to see a few players while he's here on the East Coast. Immediately, I piped up and asked Ron if he had room for me to join him and he agreed. I'd never been to the event before and I heard it was quite a spectacle. Lucky for me, he had an extra ticket.
