A crazy game, but another big win for the Blackhawks. That's the only way to sum up Saturday's 6-5 overtime victory over the Los Angeles Kings.
The Hawks, 6-1-1 in their last eight games, scored four goals in a span of 4:06 in the second period against the worst team in the Western Conference to put the game away -- or so they thought until the Kings scored four in the last 10:54 of the third to force overtime. It wasn't until Patrick Sharp scored his second goal of the game 1:48 into OT that the Hawks had secured their two points.
''At this time of year, you've got to take the wins any way you can get them,'' Sharp said. ''We've got to forget about that third period and be happy with the win we got.''
