Patrick O'Sullivan, Alexander Frolov and Michael Cammalleri put on the best line performance the Kings have seen in years Thursday - and they didn't even start the game together.
A first-period knee injury to Derek Armstrong forced Coach Marc Crawford to shuffle the lines by moving O'Sullivan down to center for the second group.
Crawford hit the jackpot with this rarely used combination.
Frolov had a hat trick and O'Sullivan played a part in all five goals as the Kings beat the St. Louis Blues, 5-1, in front of 14,132 fans at Staples Center.
"Some nights you get things going your way and tonight was one of those," said O'Sullivan, who had a goal and four assists. "With Army down, we needed a little bit different combination out there and we were clicking."
