The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Drew Doughty of the Guelph Storm has won the Max Kaminsky Trophy as the OHL's Most Outstanding Defenceman for the 2007-08 season.
Doughty, an 18-year-old native of London, ON, scored 13 goals and 37 assists for 50 points in 58 games this season with the Storm. Doughty also helped Team Canada win the gold medal at the World Junior Championships and participated in the ADT Canada-Russia Challenge in November, the Home Hardware CHL-NHL Top Prospects Game in January and the OHL All-Star Classic in February
