It doesn’t look good on either Smitty or Svats coming back before the end of the regular season.
The Avs are going to announce soon that, while Smyth’s head and neck checked out well on CAT scans, the left shoulder is likely separated - but things will be officially known in the coming days.
Translation: he’s got a shoulder separation, at least. I’ve also been hearing about a possible broken collarbone - the most commonly broken bone in the human body.
Watch them try to injure one of our players again next season.
The reason this will continue into next year is Rob Blake. JMFJ dropped his gloves and was ready to go untill Blake went Big Brother and stepped in. Lappy VS JMFJ ends it right there. Cryin' ryan = Lappys hit on Frolov in the same spot earlier in that game. Svatos = Labs . Good for them. That being said, if Ryans helmet had stayed on, seperated shoulder back for the playoffs o.k. Never want to see a head injury like that.
