Rob Blake is expected to miss two weeks with a non-displaced fracture in his left ankle.
The Kings defenseman will return to Los Angeles for treatment, missing the remaining sixgames of the team's trip through the East Coast.
Blake, considered by many a future Hall of Famer, has fivegoals and 21 assists in 53games this season.
The 18-year veteran is one of the last-place team's biggest bargaining chips with the trade deadline approaching. The Kings are targeting a Feb. 15 return, which would give him a little time to show he has healed before the Feb. 26 trade deadline.
