The worst UFA signing was forward Michal Handzus' four-year, $16 million contract with the Los Angeles Kings.

Handzus was expected to be a strong two-way forward but in 81 games netted only 21 points and his plus-minus of -19 ranked among the worst in the NHL, not what Kings management had in mind when they signed him.

Yup. Zues needs to step it up. I don't know how much his ACL still bothers him but he went from a consistent 50 point per season producer and one of the premier two way forwards to this. He needs to shape things up next season or else we should just unload him for a 7th round pick or a cap space filler and bring up a prospect.
