Though it is probable Paul Maurice and Jean-Sebastien Aubin won't be sitting down to dinner during the Maple Leafs' stay in California, the coach played down lingering stories of a feud.
Aubin played goal for Maurice with the Marlies in 2005-06 and came up to the Leafs late that season when Ed Belfour was hurt and Mikael Tellqvist slumped.
Aubin almost got the Leafs into the playoffs with a run of 9-0-2. But with Maurice running the Leafs, most of the work went to Andrew Raycroft. Aubin was not re-signed this season and now is the L.A. Kings' backup.
