Why do those look SO MUCH BETTER than the last few bunches of DD pics you've put up? I'm not saying the last were bad (because they weren't), it's just that these have so much more pop to them!!
What'd you do, shoot in RAW or something?!?!

RAW made the difference. It is such a noticeable difference, too! Contrasts are better. Color is more vivid. Noise is less noticeable.
Will you ever go back?
Yeah I really like the quality of the RAW pics and there were a few that were underexposed that I was able to coax out into the light during the importing process (thanks to Puckmonkey for the pointers) that I would have lost in JPG.
I'm sold on RAW. I just needed the space to put it and Samy's came through.
