PEOPLE MAGAZINE used one of my photos from the LA Derby Dolls game on Saturday night! I tried to stalk the starlets in question but Drew Barrymore asked me not to take any pics and promised "Next time".

A plug like this for the Derby Dolls and even roller derby altogether is better than any banner ad they could buy. I am still kicking myself for not getting a shot of the two of them though, could you imagine? Im not much of a stalker/paparazzi though, so . . . maybe next time.

Congrats! That is SERIOUSLY cool. Ya know it surprised me at first looking at the pics, the spectators are all cool-looking hipsters as are the skaters. Seeing it on TV growing up the crowd was all feathered-hair hippie rocksters and disco joes so I associated it with that. But I guess back then in the 70's they were the cool hipsters. I kinda trip out on that.
