I always tip at least 20%, usually more if the service is good primarily because I've worked as a waiter before and I know how important those tips are. I will agree with what most people are saying that I am eating out/ordering food in a lot less then I use to now a days with money being tight and all.
The real sign the economy is bad: I actually ate dinner at home once last week.
Be afraid... be very afraid...

Are you serious? I couldn't do without cooking, I enjoy it and people say I'm a good cook. You ALWAYS eat outside?
Yes. Every once in a while friends cook for me (they hate that I don't eat healthy), and I have dinner with my parents every Sunday. But aside from that, I always eat out.
I tip the same amount. The thing is we've cut way back on dining out and delivery food. For example, I used to get Papa Johns once a week, now it's once a month. Tip the delivery guy the usual amount when I do order. My usual delivery guy is awesome and a Kings fan.

Just what the hell do you tip for lap dances? I don't often frequent such places, but I wondered about this while boobies were in my face.
To them, as much as you give, it's never enough. I've known my fair share of strippers over the years. For a while a few years ago, I went on a weekly basis and occassionally I'd get freebies, haha. They even refused my tips. That was a while ago though.

I miss home -cooked food soooo much. We eat out at least twice a day. Being in the business, there is always something to do, somewhere to go and pick up more supplies. And you know what's even funnier, I'm not a pizza nut, my wife is ( and yes we do have to go work out often). But I enjoy like The Hat, or Roscoes on the way to the game.
Last couple of weekends I was in Vegas (second home aka Luxor or Palms), I swear I keep that light on top going, and I always tip the valet guy everytime I pull up good enough that he'll leave my car right in front. And it just got me thinking about how people really depend on that little gray area of income. I guess it's like Karma. If you get it, your supposed to give it!
