coming home from hockey tonight, I was just cruising on PCH near the 110 in the middle lane when a guy in a work truck swerved into my lane and hit me, for absolutely no logical reason whatsoever.
we both came to a stop and I rolled down my window and asked him, "Are you okay?" and he proceeded to say "I'm gonna kick your ass".
Now, I'm not a small guy, and at the same time, I have no idea what drugs this guy is on, or if he's got some kind of big weapon in his car, so he points at a parking lot to pull into and I hold off on going in there while I call 911. Just leaving a lane to bail out if he pulls out a gun.
lo and behold, the LAPD rolls up with 4 units for me within about 5 minutes, they hook him up and start questioning him.
Good thing was, an off duty deputy called in right before I did and said that there was a white work truck driving extremely aggressively right before he hit me.
fortunately the guy has insurance, and swinging a goalie stick at someone would have sucked. Last I saw he was getting DUI tested by 8 cops hahaha.
so big thanks to the LAPD for responding so quickly!

glad to hear that things turned out well for you, nosoup.
I had a similar experience, except this guy was in a car smaller than my F150. we pulled over - well, I was "forced" to - and he got out of the car blaming me for "hitting" him. as I got out of my truck being annoyed and before I could ask if he got papers, he quickly sized me up and realized I was no match for him.
as it turned out, he had a small girl in the child's seat in the car. stupid ****in ass would have had it worse.

Moral of the story: always have a cell phone handy. But make sure it has a headset, or the cops will ticket you!
