Yah, he hasn't been listening to me. Can you find him someone to ****ing represent his interest please? Maybe he'll listen to you, or them, cuz he's not understanding licensing or royalty checks or somefin.
People are just happy to get their photos published. What they don't know is, that magazines and newspapers editors see them as morans. Always ask for the money they usually pay for their photographs. Or else you get no respect from those editors.

I used an agency and they keep half, but for a half page photo in a mag that has millions of readers I should get some ok money in a few months. This the fifth one they have used I think and I'm still waiting for payment on the first one but they are notoriously slow with the payments. I'm holding my breath to see exactly what comes through the pipeline.

They actually did some heavy cropping, I'm glad the quality stood up.
They also did some color correction too, mine looks a little green
There was an empty seat next to her so I just plopped down it and said "Remember a few months ago that you promised I could snap a picture next time, is it next time yet". She said "Try not to draw a lot of attention" or something so a crowd wouldn't gather. She is very aware of people taking her photo and will actually hide under her jacket or whatever. So, did this great pose and I didn't like the fact that there were no skatrers in the background so I asked her for one more when they skated around to our side. I'm sure glad I did this because the first one was focussed on the skaters and Drew was totally out of focus.
Rinkrat's Rule: Always get at least TWO of any big shot or regret it later.
You'd be surprised how often the second shot is WAY better than the first one.
Anyway's I feel this photo is a good representation of what a sweetheart she is and looks a lot better than a paparazzi shot of her in some parking lotlike you see in every magazine. That's the perk I got for being the Derby Dolls photographer. She loves the Derby Dolls and had no problem with me taking a photo of her.

Great story. Most of the published photos you see around are one out of 30 tries. You've done it with just two tries.
BTW, your original photo is of course better than the crop, but that's not surprising. I love your composition skill, every heavy crop destroys that.

And the fact she looks SMOKING HOT and isn't there in her PJ's with no makeup on after a night of drinking might have something to do with it.
