Poor people in Louisiana. Here comes a hurrican that is gaining more and more strength every hour. Now there predicting it will be a catogory 5 by the time it reaches NO.
Maybe somebody should tell Bush and FEMA ahead of time.



And even this hasn't been updated. Its leaving Cuba as a cat 4 and gaining strength.

I'd much rather see the governor of Louisiana and the mayor of NO take responsibility (the way they were supposed to but didn't when Katrina hit them) for the safety of their constituents as well as their constituents taking responsibility for their own safety.

Parts of Texas east of me are already evacuating to Houston. Its crazy to try to be traveling east to west in east Texas right now.

that site is way cool. you could look at interesting stuff like the ocean buoys data. right now one is registering 80 mph winds and 35 foot waves.

I'm with you on this. I've never been to N.O. but, why keep rebuilding the area below sea level? They know sooner or later another one of these storms will hit. Money constantly being spent on rebuild sounds crazy to me.
