I know he is not for everyone, but to me he is the greatest comedian of all time. Anyways, he'll be playing at the Brea Improv all weekend. Its a little spendy at $30, but he has put together a great routine every time I have seen him.
Because the Brea Improv is a fairly intimate setting, after his last show here a couple months ago, I was able to talk hockey with Norm for about 10 minutes. While he is still a Canadiens fan, he knew a fair amount about the Kings. But in typical Norm fashion he asked me "if that Gretzky character was still playing."
in any event, just thought I'd give you the heads up if anyone wanted to check him out....
Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa! Lets not get carried away here. The guy's not in the same league as some of his precedessors but he's a great laugh. I'll probably check him out again!
What makes him a genius in my book is that he so doesn't care if you or anyone else laughs at what he said. He's cracking himself up and if you go for a ride with him, fine, but if you don't fine too.
