John or jon?
Can all of you named JOHN, and all of you named JON please get together for some sort of 'summit meeting' and agree on one spelling please. C'mon now.
That goes for Lindsay and Lindsey as well.
And the worst part of all of this confusion is when someone who spells their name JON, gets offended when you spell it JOHN. Like it matters.
I smell a wikepedia link, what's the difference between the two? Is there some sort of secret meaning or cultural difference between the spellings?

On behalf of my middle name, I'd like to nominate JOHN as the official spelling.
It's not like there's a shortage of H's in the world...

Jon generally is short for Jonathan and John is not really short for anything.
Since it's the way i spell my name, I vote for John.

Got off the phone at work with a guy who seemed offended that I spelled his name JOHN, when it was JON.
LGK has become my place to vent.

Well, I guess you could always go with "Jhonny" Peralta's idiotic spelling.
