Why are gardeners always out to kill me? They cut me off in their 25 year old pick up trucks when I'm going 30mph and they are going 10mph. They get on the carpool lane on the freeway, going 45mph and then I have to dodge rakes and tree branches that fly out their vehicles. I like challenges, but that's something I can live without. So, what gives???

Well, it's an age old question: why does anyone like anyone? Chemistry, personality, IQ, looks, political leanings, wealth, etc.
There are so many factors, it is impossible to say for certain, but in my mind you are attracted to the outside, and you stay because of the personality, intellect, and compatibly.

You can avoid all of this by moving to an area that has no trees, grass or gardens to worry about, thereby avoiding the need for gardeners. I suggest downtown L.A., New York City, or Mars.
And honestly, a gardener emailed me just last week and asked how he can avoid Kings fans who tailgate him on the freeway, so the issue goes both ways.
You will have to send him a personal message through the board and ask him yourself. I would rather focus on relationship advice, family issues and other areas where a simple fact isn't the answer.
Lace can be a little rough. It looks nice, but if you are going to be rubbing against that for any period of time, I would pass and go with the cotton.
