"I agree, Mortal Kombat is a very good game but I feel that Donkey Kong is the greatest game ever."

Because both of those games sucked!
Here are some of my favorite old time arcade favorites:
Gauntlet
Ikari Warriors
Berzerk
Star Castle
Super Sprint
Cyberball
Tron (stand up version)
Galaga
Centepede
Man there was nothing better than getting $5 in quarters an hitting up Time Out, Chuck E Cheese, or the bowling alley. Good times.
For those interested this is the BEST HOME ARCADE EVER

Don't forget:
Pole Position
Gorf
and my favorite
Super Sprint
My buddy and I would drive all the way to Cal Poly Pomona to spend all day in the University Union playing Super Sprint. Sometimes we even went to class.........*
*probably the number one reason why I am a cop and not an engineer

I had the Atari 2600 console. Played a lot of Frogger, Paperboy, Pitfall, Donkey Kong, and Q-Bert.
I had the E.T. game, but it sucked.
My favorite "stand-up" arcade games were Rampage, Burgertime, Asteroids, and Galaga.
I also liked Centipede, but I always pinched my skin in that trackball thingy. :(

here is a place near me that has a bunch of the old games
Nickel ! Nickel ! 5 ¢ Games Lake Forest
The charge a fee to get in and the games are free (seriously they have a row of free ones, like Joust and Qbert and millipede for free) to 5 nickels to play. I take my nieces once every couple of months.
