PROVIDENCE, R.I. - State police say they arrested a man early Tuesday whose blood alcohol level was 0.491 percent — the highest ever recorded in Rhode Island for someone who wasn't dead.
The legal limit in Rhode Island is 0.08. A level of 0.30 is classified as stupor, 0.4 is comatose and 0.5 is considered fatal, according to the health department.
The highest I have tested and arrested was a .34%. Book this guy flight to FF 11......
You wouldn't let him off with just a warning for a .34?? Man, APD are hardasses. The guy probably still knew his name.
Actually, if you are familiar with Anaslime, this guy drove from Anaheim Bl. and Ball Rd. to the Phoenix Club parking lot. He did the FSTs better than some people I have arrested for .08%

Dude, that's why BAC is flawed IMO, they just haven't found a better way to gauge people's drunk level that's not subjective.
Years ago, I was a Guinea Pig for a South Bay PD for their DUI training purposes. They picked us up, gave us beer, and tried to determine how drunk we were while the supervisor made us blow and privately recorded our BAC levels. They took us home when we hit about .12 to .15.
