Peeps in Minnesota don't have the same warm fuzzy feeling for animals that we do out here. Outside of the cities, if your dog gets loose and is wandering around in some farmers field, it WILL get shot and its corpse thrown in the ditch.

If that was going on in the local mountains, the bugger would have been sedated, tagged, woken up without that thing on its head, and gone back to being a bear in the woods.

6 days? They tried to tranq. the bear but to no avail???? WTF. How is it that the vets can do it or the zoo have no problems. Sounding like someone wanted to put a bear head up on the wall.
