If you're looking to grab Mario Galaxy this week (tomorrow), and if you have a Wii, you had better be (the reviews are saying it's the best Mario since Super Mario 3!)... the nice folks at Toys R Us will give you a free $25 gift card with purchase.
I just hope I get some time this week to play it :( Thank God for Thanksgiving
Whoa! Thanks for the heads up! I don't have a Wii yet, can't find one... and gave up on it. I was waiting until Smash Bros Brawl anyway (which would be december, but got delayed until feb 2008). But I'm going to buy this anyway. 25 dollar gift card, why the hell not??
Thanks!

Just got one a few weeks ago myself. My friend/roommate and I watched the Southpark Wii episode then decided to drive out to Palm Desert to get one... luckily ended up getting one in Corona They can be had if you don't mind taking a little trip. The Best Buy we went to had 15 or so in stock that night. Call around to the smaller cities... it was well worth the trip... we've played it pretty much non-stop since.

Thanks. But that's why I don't want the system. No reason for me to go out of my way to pick one up. It's been out for a year already, that's absolutely ridiculous.
I'm not too excited about the Wii, well... I was... but I lost the excitement. Like I said, I'm really only waiting for Smash Bros Brawl. But I will pick up Galaxy now anyway, since I will buy it sooner or later.
Right now Halo 3 and NHL 08 is keeping me waaaay occupied, and I'm satisfied.
Again, thanks for the heads up with the gift card.
Costco gets shipments every other day. They've got a good bundle, too. Wii with WiiSports and an extra WiiRemote. Mine was a gift, so I don't know the price.
I'm-a hafta get to TRU.

Played Super Mario Galaxy for a an hour or two last night, so far it's pretty damn amazing! The graphics are great, but the gameplay is even better. So far it's on par with the Zelda and Metroid Wii titles.
I played it last night for like 3 minutes and it's set up like Mario 64 so if you played that you'll have no problem getting into the game very quickly.
