I couldn't stand the fact that I was making assists to Kanko and Guiliano so I updated the Kings roster myself, and I also gave the goalies all a boost in the 5 hole department, they were all letting in ****ty goals. Poor Moulson can't get a call up from Manchester and Gabe Gauthier is a scoring beast!!!

Coming down the left wing I fired a shot on net that the goalie covered up. Just as I was skating by I took a chance and poke checked the goaltender. Lo and behold, the puck slips through the goalie's legs and into the net as the defensemen look on in confusion.

Seems as though you can be rewarded for jabbing at the goalie this year, which provides more incentive for defensemen to keep the crease clear. Hopefully these types of goals don't happen too often though....but it was fun to watch.

THe game crashes for me every once and a while...

Especially annoying is when I have a 1 goal 2 assist game ....grrr..

EA's off-season still blows. After one season of Be-A-Pro, my player got offered 4 contracts with other teams. They were all identical so I picked the Kings. The GM then went on to trade Kopitar, acquire Dan Cleary, Chris Higgins, Ryan Callahan, Mike Johnson, Stephane Robidas, Keith Yandle, and Cory Schneider.

I cannot even find Kopitar anywhere in the league. Maybe he went to the KHL.

Edit: Nevermind, Kopitar signed with Colorado.

EA SPORTS World - garbage

I got hosed in overtime. My defenseman got the puck in the zone after an errant pass and then proceeded JUST. STAND. THERE. Got the puck stripped by the center and he scored a point-blank goal. Sigh.

My player is a 6'4 220 pound power forward right wing. In the AHL I rarely got assists because the players on my lines would never finish when I set them up.

After 18 games, 23 goals, only 3 assists, 86 PIMs and 211 hits I got called to the Kings.

The Kings were the worst team in the league before I was called up, and now they sit in the second seed in the conference with 71 points, trailing Vancouver by 3 points. I moved up to the top line quickly and I still shoot way more than pass but now I have 43 goals, 17 assists, 130 PIMs and 365 hits in 31 games with LA. I'm 5th in the NHL in scoring and 1st in goal scoring. I played on the 4th line of the all-star team.

I scored a pretty sweet Sully-like goal the other day.

o_o How is that any fun? But I guess we all have different play styles.

I play 10 minute periods off line. I'm just in my 16th game of the season or so.

That's weird... were you hogging the puck? Constantly calling for a line change? The game does work in weird ways.

I mean, in Manchester... I had my worst game ever. 0 G, 0 A, -5. Then after the game, I got promoted from the 2nd defensive line to the 1st line. That was quite funny.

I think it factors your report card in when decisions are made. I assumed I got demoted from 1st to 2nd line center only because of my stats grade. It said I didn't have 1st line production and that I couldn't rely on positioning alone to stay there. The stats category on my report card was my only bad 'grade'. Positioning and team play were both A's.
