It's too bad you need a fileplanet subscription to download it.
I am not a subscriber and I was able to get it just fine.
On demos you do NOT need a subscription, a simple registered account will work just fine. It's the betas and sneak peaks that require you to pay.
Plus there are other places to get it, was just linking one of them.
However, the minimum requirements for the beta were borderline rediculous. I do remember them saying something about tuning it down, but the beta really looked like a goregous game. It was very fun too, the storyline is an interesting story and the gameplay is very straightforward but still challenging at some points.

If this is the final release its total garbage. Rooms look all the same, claustrophobic feeling cus you can't really move around with streets blocked off, buildings not enterable.
For all the hype the graphics are just average at best.
At this point i think i'll hold out for Tabula Rasa.

You are also able to download the beta for Tabula Rasa off of fileplanet (not sure if you need to subscribe, or simply have a log-in), which will run through the end of this week I believe. I tried it out and have had a blast with it, perhaps the most "fun" MMO I've yet played. Really seems to follow the City of Heroes philosophy of gaming, which is: get the player in, get him doing something fun right off the bat, and don't require them to spend the other half of their life grinding away at it. Check it out.

I've been playing Tabula Rasa beta for about 2 weeks. Nice graphics and a pretty cool game, except that you don't have to aim, which i think is gay.
I'll hold out judgment till i see what the pvp side of its gonna be.
