this game had better be really ****ing good, given how many times it's been pushed back and how long we're
$500 for the system
$200 for hard drive upgrade
$50 for a second controller
$60 for at least one game
______
$810
It goes up really quick
I 'm sure you can find a better deal than that somewhere.
Paid 500 for mine - got free controlller, free game, free blu-rays. Sold the game, sold the blu rays. So it ended up costing me a little less than 400.
"We will await confirmation from Square Enix before anything is confirmed, as we must stress that this comes from an analyst, and not the actual publisher or developer."
This probably belongs in the same thread as Rob Blake waiving/not waiving his NTC. At least at this point in time anyway.
I don't have to get a PS3 until then either! Then hopefully the console will go through 1-2 more price drops. Perfect.
E-X-A-C-T-L-Y what I was thinking bro. I was looking at 2008 because of FFXIII and MGS4 but if it's only going to be MGS4 coming out this year I can wait until 2010. By then the PS3 will be the rumored 120gb version and selling for $299. MGS4 will probably be a greatest hits title selling for $30 too.

I'm actually cool with it either way. Right now the only thing fueling my desire to buy a PS3 is FFXIII and the ability to buy movies again (I haven't bought a dvd in over a year due to the format wars). Another year or two wait won't kill me.
