Check out this trailer for the next COD. Back to World War 2. It looks like it will come out sometime in November. Heh....right around the time Gears 2 comes out.

Yes it does, and I heard it's a MMG (Massive Multiplayer Game) meaning like 40 people (probably more) can play at once.

Also of note that, the publishers behind COD4 are also working on a sequel as well, so technically there could be 2 new Call of Duties out next year.

I'm disappointed that they're shifting back to WWII. Oh well, I'll probably buy it, unless my friends decide to own on another game (like Socom or Resistance 2).

It's by the guys who made 3 and the console spin-off of 2 (Big Red One) instead of the guys that made 1, 2, and 4. I'm a little skeptical since 3 was not as good as the others. The Call of Duty license is all over the damn place with I think 6 different developers having a hand it in at some point.

Most of it is in the Eastern Theatre tho, so it's a bit of a change from the same ol. Later you do end up back in Europe.

Coop Multiplayer is slated to be 4 player, subject to change of course. I hear the online vs and team vs play is supposed to be damn big as well tho!

I don't mind the WWII thing. COD4 was refreshing, but what else are you going to do?

Treyarch made cod3 and United Offensive , the (the add on for the original COD) UO was the best of the the COD series, imo. COD3 was an epic failure.
Hopefully COD world at war won't suck. I like the ww2 genre. I just want something other than cod2 for PC. I think COD4 sucked ass. But, I think the COD:WW is going to be a combo of UO and COD4. Infinity Ward who made cod2 and 4 is making cod6.
