They are different games. Gears is great, and I still enjoy 3rd person over first, but there is a lot less "bull****" in COD4 online. Both are fun as hell to play.
Gescom hit me up online, I am a noob at those games and do not spend all day online with them so you probably can kick my @ss. I asked for COD4 and Gears for Christmas. Hopefully I will get both
Multiplayer on PC has been taking too much of my time lately. The perks make selecting(and rotating) weapons a friggin blast. All I know is as much as I hate being killed by martyrdom, I love using it on others. Always a chuckle

I was hanging out with my buddy and for some reason I kept thinking about this game and wondering what I was missing. So I made a run to Best Buy and have been playing the game for 2 hours.
HOLY **** THIS GAME IS UNBELIEVEABLE!!!!!!!!!!
I love Gears of War but COD4 gets my vote. I have never seen a video game as tight as this. The was the marines move is so realistic I feel like I'm in the middle of a freaking movie. The graphics? Best I have ever seen anywhere.
Any Xbox 360 owner that does not have this game must go out and get it now!!!

Im running with a silenced smg(p90), uav blocker, dead silence, and bandolier . it's awesome because i head in the opposite direction of my teammates and rack up easy kills.
martyrdom was good to level up to get the p90, but i like dead silence and the long sprint one better. i switched to dead silence because i kept getting pissed losing my position with my clodding steps.
