Is there anyone out there that can advise on where to have a piece of Stephen Holland's artwork appraised? Several years back I won a limited edition lithograph by Stephen Holland titled, "He shoots, he scores", which was in recognition of Gretzky's goal 802. It is signed by Gretzky, and everyone else in the King's organeyezation that year, including players. It has the certificate of authenticity and there were less than 100 made. The signatures are all in pencil, not reproduced.
I have been trying to find the other's that were produced, but no luck.
Any assistance anyone can provide would be appreciates.
i have one of those also i got mine during the silent auction at Jason Allisons team bowling event a few years back.i went to Tip A King a week later and saw the bidding up to $2000 for one.Mine is 50 or 51/100 i believe, framed and signed in pencil by the 91'/92' team as i believe they all were.As for getting them appraised i wouldn't know where to start.if you find out could you pass along that info to me as well?
Thanks for the info, I think mine is in the 70's sequentially. Nice to know the others are out there, I have gone to several of Holland's sites but nothing about them. The ones he has done for Gretzky with just Gretz's signature are going for 7500 plus, but they are on canvas. If i find anything out I will let you know and thanks,
cool deal i'll take any info on them you can dig up.Mine is 50/100 when i checked it at home.where did you get yours from? it's really an awesome piece it's huge and fully framed & matted.
It was won from the envelope purchases at Tip A King, I don't remember seeing them auctioned though, wonder where the other 98 lithos are? Did you get it framed and matted or did you have it done, if you had it done, where did you go?
Wow you got it for a lower price than I did! If I remember correctly those envelopes aren't that much at all. When I won mine in the silent auction it was already framed & matted. Was your framed & matted as well? Let me think this was Tip A King in Santa Monica about 4 or 5 years ago that i saw the same piece being auctioned off and I got mine a week earlier at the bowling event.
